- Hacker News - A quality portal for scitech news and the discussion thereof.
- Kiva - An excellent portal to the world of microfinance which I have put some money into. (My profile.)
- Google Voice - The wave of the future (not Wave). Transcription usually works, and either way it's great to have a web interface for voicemail.
- Brownian Motion - My Ultimate Frisbee team, also on Wikipedia.
- GigaOM - One of several tech blogs which I am known to frequent. News, opinion, and zenful phonetics.
- Surviving the World - Observations on life, usually witty and/or accurate.
- Google Reader - RSS feed aggregator. I use it to keep track of all the blogs and other online content that I read.
- TeuxDeux - A pretty sweet to do list app which I've been using to keep track of my life.
- Stack Overflow - A crowdsourced programming question and answer site which is radically helpful, whether you're posting or just combing through pre-existing content.
Software
- Coda - Web development IDE for Mac. Editing, previewing, built in FTP syncing, etc. Sweet Stuff.
- Photoshop - You know what it is. I couldn't live without it.
- TextWrangler - Excellent freeware tool for text editing. I've used it quite successfully for writing Python scripts and whatnot.
- Steam for Mac - Recently bringing the gaming love to Mac users everywhere. Portal is (was?) free. Awesome.
- Google Chrome - Google's browser: quick, elegant, and fully functional. I'm a major fan.
Hardware
- MacBook Pro - I was an avid Windows/Linux user until summer 2009 when I decided to try the last untamed major OS. Now I swear by it.
- iPod Touch - Useful for any number of things. Want music? You got music. Want a dog whistle? Done and done.
- LG Neon - Simple messaging phone, as much as I could desire in a phone which isn't smart.
